Your eyes blink in a constant rhythm, when you walk the rhythm is constant
And yet the only rhythm i have is chaos, th chaos of my beating heart
The shrill cry of broken glass echoing in my mind
Absolute darkness falls over my eyes
Dont speak that word again
What we had was perfect
a gift from god, a means to end
A mind numbing, heart bending distaste
The taste of blood at the back of my mouth
Not physical, but emotional torture
Vomiting the cruel sadistic words back up again

Its eyes wander the room, trying to find safety
You remember the knife its blade its own metalic soul
You remember how little you cared, how little human you had left in you
Its back, biting at your soul like a vulture to the dead
it's clawed beak tearing away at your inside.
Its mighty talons destroying the last of your immortality
As you stare into the mirror...
you begin to realise...
you ARE human...
you ARE MORTAL...
